My topper dilemma - truck looks good without it and I don't miss the weight, but within a week I miss the functionality of the topper. Back on it goes!

its wierd. I guess the windoor frame is somehow bonded to the shell so they can't fix it at the shop. Needs to be sent out. Its a discontinued model

That is weird. Mine has a metal track that the windoor if fixed too and it is sharp on the bottom edge. Looks like you just need some super glue on that.

They said it woulda failed again eventually. Really hoping they scrap it and I can get one of the reinforced toppers with side doors. Prefer that for my RTT

Also need some opinions, been going back and forth about possibly grabbing these from a guy up north, should I go SCS Ray 10's or keep my fj trail teams?

Nope. They are pretty straightforward, intuitive, and easy to use. I use a drill with a 19mm to extend them for use because i'm lazy. Then for tightening, just a socket wrench on each side a few turns at a time evenly on both sides and voila - spring compressed.

Put on my painted front grille. Step #2 towards "de-chroming".
    1. Front Badge
    2. Grille

Still need to get a painted rear bumper, then will decide what to do about the door badges..

The grille is the right color, but it's off just slightly....I assume because it is new paint, and the truck is 6 years old.....

Definitely the SCS. I had the black trail teams and went to the ray 10’s. The offset makes the truck look better and that color would look really sharp on your Tacoma.

Right on man, thanks for the input! I was curious about the stance actually, Im running spacers on there already so with the extra bit of backspacing I'm thinking it would be even wider :goingcrazy:
