Damn, I'm 10 pages behind. Y'all still talking 9mm?

 

We talk all calibers all the time. Whatcha find? I'm not interested unless it's under .20 a round.

 

Shoot, I can't find any under .75/rnd. It's ridiculous. I still have a case of 5.56 but can't find 9mm anywhere.

Sometimes @pdenajim can get a deal and he's not that far from you. @68dave too but it seems his guy in WVa might also be having a hard time. Call the Cabela's up in Delaware at Christiana Mall. If they have some I can run up and grab some for us.

I'm actually only about 15 mins away from Cabela's myself. Everytime I call them up, they only ever have self defense rounds, no FMJ or target loads. What does @pdenajim do or where does he work?

PS - I'm willing to go in on a bulk buy with anyone here.

Yea, you need LEO I.D. to get those defense rounds.

I saw 9mm defense rounds online for $4.00 a round. WTF!?

 

What, the hollowpoints? Seriously? Sinve when did they require a LEO ID for self defense rounfs? That's ridiculous.

 

I've gone through the checkout process a couple times now and each time they ask for a LEO I.D. # I gave up looking. Now, there are some that are the same ballistics that don't say "defense" in the title so that's what I look for now.

My guy here in WV told me hes expecting a large shipment of 9mm. He couldn't give me a price tho because I wanted to prepay for 1000rds. I was shooting off rounds yesterday evening like ammo was free, I've gotta start controlling myself better. My ammo is getting real low, makes me nervous when I'm low on ammo.

 

The brakes worked when i beat it like i stole it last night

I've been out of the loop recently with ammo, but what is causing the price rise?

I remember the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting causing shortages and price gouging because the gov't was buying up everything, but what is the reason now?
