Been looking at the Katzkins leather seats for the tacoma DC. The all leather kit (premium) is $150 more than the vinyl/leather (deluxe) version. Anyone have any opinions on which is better/durable and which is the easiest to maintain?

I don't have either but I would think the all leather would be the most durable over time. The other model is only leather where you sit and vinyl or something else in the other areas. I would cop the all leather kit, I bet it will hold up longer and for the small amount extra why not go ahead and do it right. That is just my take, others may have had the vinyl and had good luck but I just think the leather would be tougher. Good Luck though. JOE>

Is that $150 more per seat or $150 more total? If total $150 more total I'd go premium... just my opinion.

I have the premium and it was worth it IMO. You're already spending some serious cash..might as well go with the highest quality.

I have the combo kit...actually kinda glad the backseats are vinyl instead because the dogs sit in the backseat.

Is the rear seats all vinyl? or part leather and part vinyl like the front?

The online order form kind of indicates the sides and the backs of the front sears are vinyl, the part you sit on are leather. They don't mention the back being all vinyl.

Yeah the backseat is all vinyl. People tend to knock on vinyl though...its actually a nice high quality vinyl. The only way you can tell is after sitting in it for a while, it doesn't warm up as much as leather does with your body heat.

The front seats are only vinyl on the sides and backs, everything your body comes in contact with is leather.

I am getting the full leather installed front and back. The front seats will be the two tone dark grey/light grey with black stitching. The door panels and center console are also being done. The front seats will also have the 2-level heaters installed. They are also going to have the "TX Pro" logo embroidered on the front seats. The price I got is $1,260. This is the same place that I just got my new Sony head unit installed so they are giving me a deal. I just have to pick the colors and they will get it ordered. Told me it should take about 3 weeks to get in becasue of the embroidering.

That's pretty awesome. I wanted the old school "TOYOTA" logo on my seats but the installer said they couldn't do it due to copyrights or trademarks or what have you.
