You can just go to your throttle limits for gears 1 through 6 and multiply everything by *105 or *110. Currently they're at about 25% higher than the stock 2.0 OV tune. I played with 30% overall increase and thought it was too much, however you might like it! I wanted the vehicle to be more responsive but still drivable to where I don't have to tiptoe around the throttle.

Question: are the values seen in the tables percentages themselves, or do you do the math and plug in the appropriate/resulting value?

Finally have some time off, starting to play with some stuff.

I believe they are percentages. So when pressing the Throttle down 5%, the throttle body will open x percentage out of 100.

Focus more on the percentage you're increasing that number by, as opposed to what that number actually is to eliminate too much headache and overthinking.

On that note, anyone flashing a lot that wants a backup plan ready to go.... I'm putting together a few kits that will plug directly into the ECM and your Tactrix. No jumper wires or fiddling required.

Yeah that's what I was trying to identify. Like, if it says 30. If that means 30% or not, because 5% more could then bring it to 35, or to 31.5

I really considered this also after this happened. I think it would help out anyone on the edge about tuning. I just don’t know where to get the ecm harness from?

As Mat noted, I guess there are issues with some ECMs having corrosion internally which is never good. My understanding is that using the flash software (not Techstream), it should be almost impossible to brick your ECM. I haven't gotten that deep into it to have a good answer.

And it turned out that @Tac0Tic0's ECU didn't brick. The issue was his notebook got flakey. o_O

truck definitely didn’t start. A partial flash def locks out the ECU. But yeah it wasn’t “bricked”

Ok, thanks for confirming my memory isn't *that* bad. I try to follow here, but have been too busy to get everything lately. It is my understanding that there is really no way to permanently brick this ECM without catastrophic damage. Everything we would see is normally going to be a "soft brick" which is recoverable by the method you used.

What am I doing wrong. I update to the latest version of vfTuner when it is released. Why does it still take 5-10 minutes for the program to open up!?
