Coastal offroad takes about 2 days to ship and a front bumper takes about 2-3 days to weld and get smooth.

I have a first gen Wink that I'm no longer using as Wink decided to move to a subscription based service. If anyone wants a Wink hub, you can have mine for free.

That crap drives me nuts when companies do that. At least the previous customers need to be grandfathered in. I hope someday someone wins a lawsuit big enough against companies that do this to prevent it. Especially if the product becomes obsolete without their "service".

    Oh, I fully agree.

I bought it with the understanding that it would be free. What I learned is that the first gen hubs only act as a gateway and functions are handled at the server level. I set a function on the hub (like Turn lights on at 6pm) and it sets a scheduled task on a Wink server in a datacenter somewhere. The 2nd generation hubs are supposed to handle more of those functions at the local level.

What's stupid about the way they have it setup is that it should ALL be done at the local level. The only thing their servers should be used for is remote access (i.e. I want to turn the lights on manually when I'm away) and pushing updates.

So essentially, I bought into their product offering and helped them get off the ground, and they thanked me by asking for more money on a monthly basis so that they can operate their datacenters. Pretty crappy if you ask me. So I'm not signing up and figure if anyone else wants the hub, they can have it. Otherwise, to the dump it goes.

FYI, I just ordered a streamline front bumper for my 2nd Gen from SOS Off-Road Concepts. They have ~3 weeks lead time on local pickups, or free shipping on streamlines.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I like the one I put in my 4runner.

Definitely not the same company, but your rig looks great. Is your streamline painted or powder coated?

Hey JB you should definitely show off your solar / rear panel setup when you get a chance. That's one of the most impressive setups I've ever seen and it still looks factory.

Sounds like there is some interest here. I will take some detailed pics and put a write up together.
The setup works great and we haven’t been without power yet even with our truck sitting for 5days straight at a camp site, while we took our SxS and Dirtbikes out and Windrock not long ago.
I will say that a Solar Blanket is nice to have. Parking in the Sun will get old for sure.

I am thinking the next addition will be dual battery setup and maybe a solar panel. Was looking at Off-Grid Engineering setup with REDARC. Anybody had experience with that?

FYI there is a M101 trailer down the street from me (Woodstock) for $1500, looks pretty decent from just driving by a few times

I do. I have a few setups using the RedArc. I also used the OGE battery trays.
PM me and I will give you my cell. I can answer any questions you have.

What up brutha, that’s a slick job right there. You got some skills my friend. Putting together funds for my suspension now, will be in touch soon.
Was that a ‘build on’ the truck bumper or was it a ‘pita’ style one?

Thanks for the kind words. They are kind of a PITA the first time because the instructions are garbage. I am working on my rear bumper now and it put 8 pieces together and had to take 4 apart because it as not going together like it was supposed to. But it finally started to work like it should.now I just have to fully weld it and make it pretty haha
