Now that we didn't get one I think we should have. Or maybe I just need to knock out some walls.

We went with standard so we wouldn’t lose space. Dedicated Dew drawer for the beard. We love this thing.

WOW my friends just sacrifice their veggie drawers for beer. They don't really cook food anyways, they always eat out.

I haven't told y'all my big news yet..

I'm building a house! I got 1.5 acres of family land, and we just signed a contract with a home builder right before price increases kicked in cause of all the shortages. I'm currently wading through permits and bank stuff.. but I'm super excited about it.

I cook a lot so I needed some space. Fridge was still newish in that pic. There’s a lot more stuff in there now. I like the hot sauce section hidden in the left door. Lots of space for his special things.

A huge shout out to @JayDub for doing the preliminary inspection on this before I drove 2 hours!
Well the old guy selling acted like he couldn't wait until Sunday for me to buy this. So I took a trip to Anderson last night (from Lugoff). Looked it over as well as possible considering it was dark and drizzling. For some inexplicable reason, the spray painted EVERYWHERE underneath with black spray paint. I guess to "dress" it up?! It's stupid! But I crawled all around and couldn't find anything beyond a little surface rust. As least the parts that weren't painted like in the frame rails. You could tell at one point the interior was probably really gross. It has new carpet and fake leather seat covers. The driver's seat has stability issues and seems to sit too high. I will probably be on the lookout for replacement seats. But first to replace a front axle ($50), fix the binding sunroof cables so it doesn't leak and replace suspension bits I'm sure. And definitely get a good baseline before the mods start.

Drove it back home in the pouring rain! It was an adventure to be sure. Didn't get home to almost midnight. Excuse my ugly garage.

I don't care for the non functional hood scoop but hey it's a V8!

    I wish! But...$$$

Plus, it would look just a little out of place in the middle of (what used to be) pasture land. :D

Glad it worked out for you! Sorry I couldn't help you out yesterday when you needed it..

What's up with the front axle?

It's perfectly ok! I totally understand! I appreciate you going to check it out for me.

Once I got home, I noticed the passenger side axle boot was ripped (engine side). Looks like half of it was missing. It could have happened on the ride home.

Weirdly, I test drove it, it was really smooth! Then after buying it, I hit some rough road and it started really shaking like the front end was completely worn out. After hitting 85, it all smoothed back out and was perfect riding home. I was really thankful for that because after it started shaking at 45-50 (after buying it), my heart just sank! It was great until I turned onto my road, hit another big bump at low speed, and the whole car felt like it was bucking back and forth. Almost like engine surging but felt like the suspension doing it. I figured suspension parts and axles would have to be addressed on any old 4Runner and GX.
I think I'm going to duct tape the sunroof for now and address the axle and suspension first.
