Ever since I purchased this truck, earlier this year, I've had a noise when going over bumps. The only way I can describe it is it is as if the driver's window is moving against the rubber trim, but it does it if the window is cracked as well. The window feels solid and and door is shut all the way.

I'm guessing something is just loose or needs to be cleaned, but I don't know. Just curious if anyone else has had this issue or can at least point me to the right thread because I haven't been able to find one.

Yeah, I've gotten that same thing with the driver side door, right at my head area, top of the door. Only happens at really high winds. Some adhesive gasket or seal would fill the gap from wind catching it

Yes, that is the right area, but mine doesn't seem to be wind related though. As a matter of fact, it's probably one of the quietest vehicles I've driven in the wind.

Anyone have any suggestions? I started noticing it on the passenger side too and moreso when it is colder inside (and out). Presumably something to do with expanding and contracting, but I'm not sure what.

If it's a squeaky type of noise, try spraying silicone spray onto a rag and wipe down all of your door seals and window tracks.

    Update:

Finally remembered to mention it at the dealership. They found the window seal has broken clips and determined I needed a new one. It won't be in until Thursday. Hopefully this solves my issue. Does anyone know how this even happens? Especially without removing the door panel for any reason.
