I never got the whole drinking on the trail thing. I start doing stupid stuff QUICK when I get some drinks in me, plus bouncing around in the truck all day while buzzed is not fun! I have been on dry trail rides where someone cracks a beer open, the trail boss tells them to put it away and they flip out over it. It's like dude just knock them back at camp what's the big deal, drink a damn dr pepper for now.

Eh, I could see it either way. I dont drink soda at all, so if I'm working outside, fishing, cutting grass, even when I mountain bike, it's not uncommon for me to have a beer or two. Take's a lot of 5% ABV to get me to where I'm making a dumb decision though, everyone is different.

Edit: Ultimately I agree with you though. It's a slippery slope, daydrinking.

I personally don't drink on a trail. I have no issue with responsible day drinking. Wanna get wild day drinking? stay where you are... It's not worth the risk of hurting someone else

I do not care if people are drinking on the trail dont get me wrong, it's just something I think to myself when people get passionate over it. As long as people dont throw cans all over, get so smashed that they run me over or get stuck/break really bad and ruin the day because of it I'm totally cool with it! Not for me but whatever.

When I was drinking I would usually be day drinking doing stuff as well! Nothing like a beer in the garage when changing oil or something easy like that!! Never drank when the welder came out or when I had to do something that I had to really think hard about.

How often to people really pay a premium for built trucks? Like at the end of the day, this guy is asking $55K for a 4 year old truck. Assume most people don't have 55k laying around so youre asking the bank to finance you for a truck that on paper is worth maybe $30k? Maybe that's why it's been for sale since June..... Or am I missing something here?

I would be deducting the purchase price of the accessories from the asking price of the truck and offer them that.

dude has money, no he's not concerned about it. he's got a 69 Camero with an LT4 swap that is sick. He's an ex-bigwig GM engineer, from what he said in another thread.

What's a real good place to eat in Concord near the race track? Looking for something other than the usual chain restaurants, preferably something local-ishly owned, or at least not a big chain.

I've been scouring Google Maps, but local opinions make all the difference.

Mr. C's is in Concord, or if you're wanting a little drive, 200 North Family restaurant is amazing! I drive 45 minutes at least once a month to eat there.

I saw that thread. Certainly wasnt going to say anything there, but I thought the same thing.. Then I saw the thumbnail on this thread haha

He did the rear shock relocate the same way too, if you noticed that.

Had a good lol at the guys in that thread saying how clean of a build it was
