Well you want the play money but got to keep the truck running, double edged sword.

 

It's a write off maintenance on work truck

 

Umm 20k on taxes now... no value. Very hard to get money back on taxes now.

 

I break even most the time

 

Lots of deductions then.... I come nowhere close now..

 

I don't buy the exact same thing.

Just a different version of whatever I once had.

Check with @Texoma . With TW price and Rock Ato parts, not too bad.

 

Lower ball joints can be a pain. Tie rods aren't bad at all.

 

And the school money helps since it's w2 pay

 

Thinking about buying this kit has anybody used this brand or is there another brand that would work better

I think he used the firestone brand the kit is like 100 bucks more

 

I believe so but he is a good reference for what your looking at.

 

I asked him he says ride quality with airbags sucks but I don't plan to keep air in them unless I'm loaded down

 

Yes i went with firestones. Got them off Amazon and still had to run around to pneumatic stores to try to find the right fittings. They sent the wrong ones, but once i got that sorted they were really solid for me. I drove the hell out of the truck loaded down with those pumped up on the beach. The quality is definitely there with firestones. I would spend the extra $ personally, that's not something you want to have fail whenever you're fully loaded down

 

Yes they're bouncy if you have them aired up all the time, even when loaded they are still kinda bouncy. Lots more rebound with those.

But, if you're looking for a part time solution to just air them up when the truck is super loaded down, they would probably serve you well. Could take the air out of them after unloading and the ride quality would be pretty much unchanged
