    But how doh? I do mine every 5k by myself and I have never had trouble missing the pan. :confused:

    I didn’t miss the pan!! It bounce out when it hit the pan!!!

    That is a pan and container in one. Very shallow top. I had a similar one, and the spout would always drip. Not good at either task.

    Even so, I uses a cheap combo box one from Oreilys that's shallow that's never even splashed, let alone like that.

    I actually had this happen to me the other day, I did my first oil change with no issues but the second oil change I got my lift installed and I think the lift allowed the oil to bounce out of my cheap pan like yours did right on the garage floor.

    cold oil drains slow, hot oil likes to splash

    i played the oil change jockey for some years at a subaru dealership...

    i have taken oil baths.... you can really learn from those mistakes lol
