There actually is a good argument for using pink boards. Not your reason, but rather if your out on the trail with others, and they happen to have orange also (because its easy to see in the mud) then it would be easy to forget what boards are yours. With pink you get all the color as the orange, plus you know what boards are yours. I can see pink as having a good visibility against any terrain too.

With that said, I would rather get boards that are at least somewhat color matched to the rest of my truck. For me it would be those limited edition black and orange boards.

    EDIT: these ones

    Not like it REALLY matters

But sky blue does not blend into anything on the ground. Good for ground to air signal.

But that's probably the last reason and way someone would signal

Lol I know you are new but c'mon man, do you really care what color some faceless internet stranger likes? Pick one. Who cares except you. Unless you are colorblind. Or really blind. Then we will help.
Also, it's Friday and Fridays are fun days here. Epic posts happen when you mix alcohol, keyboards and Fridays.

Everyone goes orange or red. I went with the gunmetal grey for my white truck because I didn't want them to stand out. ultimately not too worried about losing them in the dirt/mud since they come with that long orange strap anyways, and more can always be added.

for a grey truck, I'd do black personally. but it's really a personal choice. I hate the color orange for the most part, and red was just too flashy for me since i carry them in my bed all the time, locked up.

No, I don't care what color a stranger likes. I don't understand the confusion here. I'm asking for people with MaxTrax mounted to a bed rack of their Cement truck can post a picture, informing my decision on a color. No it doesn't matter, no they're not for looks, no I'm not going to use them five times a week. Would I care what color they were if they were free? No. But if I'm spending $300 on something, which I'm going to see every time I approach my truck, I'm going to put some thought into the appearance.

The hero we don't deserve! Thank you for the pic; first one I've seen of grey on grey aside from the grainy image on the MaxTraxUS site. Not to get too distracted, but do you work at CVT?

An even better way to deal with snow is to move away from it haha. Here in the main risk is sand, obviously. Slick mud too depending on the weather. Secondary reasons are to level the truck (RTT), dig a hole (fire pit or massive poo poo), decrease approach/departure angle. Being new to AZ I mostly go out as a single vehicle right now, so having at least one option for recovery seems like a wise choice.

Get a shovel too. Unless you are in beach sand, you aren't digging anything effectively with the end of a maxtrax. Especially when you're about to blow out your britches trailside.

Get what you want for the colors. It is YOUR TRUCK so do what you want with it.

For decades we had Max Trax and to be honest the times that we used them were awesome.

We elected to go with an off brand and in the color we liked for way cheaper!
