I’ve got 4 tins of Lyle’s Golden Syrup that just arrived in the mail. I’ll be brewing one of these up again real soon.

I've got one left and two tins of the black treacle, which I've never brewed with before. I need to cobble together a recipe to try it out. Maybe an Olde Ale.

I got a nice little porch bomb from PA today. Sours, a couple IPAs and a very interesting barrel aged honey beer coming at 18%abv.

    What?
    Crazy talk
Everyone has a useless basement space! Am I right? Well here in the Midwest anyway....BB45A698-A165-42E2-BCEC-D87103AFB43A.jpg
Everyone has a man cave with a year round Christmas tree up or 2!

    BB414868-34F4-499F-BE95-A3EFCBBAE514.jpg
and a few Knick knacks. It’s plenty of room for a get together. A poker table that will seat 6 plus a couch and recliner for 7 more. Almost forgot about the Midwest Airlines MD-80 seats for 2 more!0F0F0641-CD8B-4B4C-8F03-EDA852527ECA.jpg
No mistake this area was built around the full size fridge / freezer with ice and water in the basement!

Cold alcohol is a priority. On party days the side freezer is filled with whiskey/vodka and anything that won’t freeze.

Beer is a necessity on a humid day in the Midwest. while sitting around playing MLB The Show you need Spotted cow in the bullpen.image.jpg
