    me and my brother in law both have rusty tacomas... im the mechanic and he is the welder and it takes both of our skills to deal with the 3 rusty tacomas we have... plus a shit load of good snap on shit that we break all the time...

    At least it's good insurance. When the tree branch fell on my wife's civic I was expecting a $3,000 offer for here 2010. AAA gave us $11,000 for it. I was pleasantly surprised. I miss that little car.

    Went to the junk yard and took a nicer gauge cluster from a '91 SR5 4-Runner and installed in my '91 Tacoma. Works great! (I did replace the oil sending unit first from a "light" unit to a "gauge" unit. Also while the dash was ripped apart I added a 2-din bluetooth/cd/dvd player and backup and right-side cameras. Also from the junk yard got a standard dash clock. It was nice to see all of the wires and connectors there ready for the upgrades!

    All the doors from 95.5 to 2004 are the same. Regular cab, extra cab or 4 door it does not matter. You just need to swap the internals for your power.
