3’ slow roller day yesterday waiting 15-20 minutes for a rideable wave on my short board. After 30 minutes switched to my 7’ Log and was catching countless waves. The catch surf does come in handy. Though I do still feel like everyone is secretly laughing at me. Oh well. I was the only on catching wave after wave.

In SoCal? Yeah pretty common since Lost collaborates with them on so many boards.

Nice thing about them is they don't ding easily. You can throw it in the back of the truck and don't have be careful with it

Depends what you want. I have the 6’ quad skipper. If I got another it’d probably be the log in like 7’. They have a ton of float and catch everything

I’ve had the dream catcher ( round pin version of the dream maker) & the meat cleaver. Didn’t really click w the dream catcher, sold it & got the meat cleaver. Have ordered 2 more custom meat cleavers since. Solid shape for decent waves w some power if you usually ride a shorter/wider board. Roberts makes really nice boards, easy to get custom dims / shapes

New TW member and just found this thread. My first truck comes in any day (scratch that, delayed another two weeks :(, so excited to throw the boards in a truck bed for the first time in my life woot!. Here's a pic of my daughter's first new board made for her by Marc Andreini; Her quiver has a begun. She's pretty good little grommet out there.

Now an Andreini is a way better first board than a Costco Wavestorm! Well done Dad!

Gary is a legit amazing human. I lived just around the corner from him while I lived in Encinitas and at one point he had shaped me I think 3 boards. Nothing better than being able to literally talk to your shaper while he is shaping your board right in front of you. So fun.
