Yea the space that the motor fits into is not very accommodating for motors, and the vanguard V-twin fits very snug, some people have notched the side to accommodate other motors, but I don't want to put any extra holes into something that is designed to swim

    Plan change.

I'm f'n spent. We're cutting the trip short. Going to route change to a direct route down 25 to Albuquerque and across 40.

Nothing bad happening... this has just been a lot more taxing than I thought it would be.

This will cut return trip down from 3 days to 2 days.

Kelly and I jetted up to Usal Beach and Road. One of the few places not on fire and blue skies. Camped for the weekend without cell service. So nice! And she spoiled me with amazing camp food!

Switch panel is installed! Took a little longer than anticipated thanks to my chatty neighbor who decided to come out and talk to me for an hour.

kit does not come with a tap fuse/add a fuse so you have to source your own but fortunately I had one from my old dash cam kit.

have some BD S1s going up on my ditch light brackets but the bolt is tiny that came with it so gonna have to either drill a new hole on the bracket or get extra washers

BD S1s are on!! Instead of drilling into the ditch brackets, ended up getting a 1/4” ID plastic spaced washer and put it in the ditch light bracket hole to eliminate the bolt moving around. Had to grind off a bit of the plastic to make it fit snug but the figment is PERF. gonna test the lights out later but it’s all wired up to the switch panel too!

OME 861s, 4th Gen T4R billies, Durobumps bumpstops front and rear installed!!! Removed rear sway bar.

glad to have some wheel gap after adding all the armor.

didn’t have time to install the PCK but the panhard angle doesn’t look too bad.

height difference between my pop’s 5th gen

I run 861's. Your panhard is most certainly at a bad angle. From the factory they are level at ride height. The PCK will return you to that and keep your ass end from hopping all over the place on washboards. Just weld it up.

I also run no sway bars. The 861's handle cornering well enough that I hardly ever even notice it's gone.

I actually have an adjustable panhard on there probably should have mentioned that!
