$103 apiece. Go to Headlamps America. Installation is not that bad considering. Remove the grill and the bodymoulding below the headlights. Loosen the top bolts. Lie on your back below and reach up through the wheelwell, working blind. On the LH side, there are two nuts at the headlamp's flange. The upper nut is the one you need to loosen, of course. The RH is easier, but the LH side takes forever. I have done this a couple times now, and it still takes an hour messing around with stuff. However, I've spent longer looking for the 10mm box wrench I used but did not return to the tool box before I closed the hood.

Adjusting isn't that bad, except generally the top adjustment is vertical. Not so on Tacomas. Tacomaholic suggested moving the windshield cleaner tank. Take his advice--it made life easier. If it appears the aimpoint is not moving, you're correct--it's not. Turn the adjustment knob the other way. Also use a parking garage if you can. Lighting is better. Less traffic. Dry. Flat. It will take almost as long to set up and take down as to adjust. If not, turn the adjustment knob the other way. :)

Yes, OEM but not smoked or blacked. Just the way they happen to look. (At least I don't think they look smoked sitting on my bench. Hmmm. . . . ) I've kept them and I am going to try to refurbish them.

Since it was your first spark plug change, I imagine it's your first fluid change. For the rear diff especially, wear thick nitrile gloves. That fluid combines wet dog, dead cat, and rotting opossum and gives them a run for the money. Used a sealed container to hold the liquid. A local shop can take the fluids for you. Call around.

Got it back from the dealer. New leaf springs have been ordered. They say they're rattling and I won't argue as long as the Toyota Certified Warranty pays for it.

Well, 2020 kicked me in the nuts again. The wife and I were supposed to be up in the sierras with my old dog Moose this week, but the California wildfires had other plans. Still had the week off so I took advantage with some upgrades. Washed and waxed today, and used the 303 on the topper for the first time. Stuff is legit. Installed 5100's all the way around, u bolt flip kit with wheelers superbumps, and added a small lift in the back. Relocated the rear differential breather valve into the bed. Removed and cleaned the PCV valve, royal purple oil change, new air filter, and an alignment. Self-indulgent photos to follow but i am feeling my truck right now.

That doesn't look fun. I think I would rather be punched in the throat. At least you got it out!

I feel you’re pain. Wife, two dogs and I were supposed to be at mammoth the week right after the fires hit and they closed everything. You’re trucks looking great though! Mines covered in dirt and ash. May do a full detail next week while I’m off.

    Canadian bro, Canadian.

very few fab shops here and certainly no one catering specifically to Toyota’s like a lot of the ones down there. $1200 cad for sliders, whether I’m getting rci or caliraised shipped, or a Canadian company its all the same :/

Any Mods? One. Maybe two, tops...
Today did a really deep cleaning in the Taco and this is what I found in the 60 storage bin...

    taco1 1.jpg

Inside it, this is what I found...

    ALLEN TOYOTA.jpg

    AT.jpg

The Taco doesn't look anything like in the picture anymore, only thing the same is the 1E7 Silver Streak Mica color. Haven't seen this paper or the picture since I purchased the Taco on Wednesday October 26, 2005. It was the first new vehicle I ever purchased, I had to - I was stationed in Naval Station Pascagoula in the Mississippi Gulf Coast when Katrina hit. My house was leveled leaving a huge concrete slab and my 2004 VW Jetta floated away into the Gulf of Mexico.
    Good times!

    Cheers.

    Rick.

Mine was almost 3 weeks ago now. And I still feeling it. Really needed that getaway. Hoping we get to do something beginning of November once my wife is done with her show she’s working on.
