It sounds like you're still having trouble in the bottom end, like I did. Take a peak at my thread in the Perf and Tuning from and compare the V1 and V2 maps, esp the second set where I over-smoothed the bottom end.

You're going to get the best of what is available with this tune. Toyota isn't going to deliver, ever. OVT, IMHO, is the only alternate option. Low end torque is greatly improved. All I can suggest is to find someone near you that is willing to let you go for a ride, or flash your ECM for you. I honestly don't think you will be disappointed.

I'll do all the research and studying i need to do to build the tune. I am hoping com delivers on some cam options especially since Magnuson released their sc.

You shouldn't have much to do when starting from the tune pack..... The base 2.0 tunes are solid.

Look at some of the Mag SC threads here and elsewhere. The initial launch is not that exciting. I hope for their sake they have a proper tune available soon.

Go for it. If that's the kind of torque you are looking for, you're never going to get it out of a NA V6. It's that, or trade it in for something you want.

I like the Taco too. It's a great platform. Take a look at the OVT twin turbo setup. They spool up very quickly and I think that will be the closest to what you are looking for.

First batch was only 25. Keep an eye on it, they will be available again. I think you will be disappointed with the Mag. SC based on my understanding of your expectations.

I can make the mag work if I have to with a pulley swap to get greater boost

But a tt set up or a ct setup will be easier. But a 3t setup would be epic

IMHO, it is going to need more than a pulley. More than half of the FI kits is the tune.

You could, but you would need dyno time and someone familiar with VFT. The choice is yours. I agree that you aren't going to find what you are looking for with a NA motor.

Thats why I'm hoping comp puts out some cams for the taco. If i can get a cam swap the mag and low ratio pulley swap i i think i can get into the 325-350ftlbs range if need be ill put a dry 50 shot in font of the maf to make the air denser

I am not an expert here, but I sort of feel that with VVTiW, there's enough control there to flow a lot. OVT is noting 500hp / tq on his biggest setup.
