Hell I dont need the entire kit I just need the manifolds I can get everything else from my job a hell of a lot cheaper but I dont feel like fabbing up the manifolds myself, or spending 600 bucks on the magnaflow manifolds just to still have to weld on flanges

I was unaware is there a link were i can read up on that setup. Because if thats the case it wouldn't be to hard to tune in a ghost cam to get alittle cam sound aswell.

It sounds like you need to have a conversation with OVT. His headers and down pipes looks pretty sweet.

Sorry, but the OVT site doesn't work well on my phone. Just check out the Products section at ovtuned.com .

You might be able to get a set of catless turbo down pipes if you sent him a message. I think he’s got quite a few.

I’ve scanned through quite a few pages and didn’t see any discussion about this, but does anyone know when all the features are going to be released? Gear lock, tow tune, etc.

    Ok, I'm confused...
I want VFTuner, if it's what others say it is, but I see conflicting statements.

For the Tacoma tune pack, it says "includes OVTuned tune files," but further down on the same page it says "CUSTOM TUNING IS NOT PROVIDED BY OVTUNE/VFTUNER."

I thought the OVTune files were tunes they made back when they sold units as OVTune. I don't have experience with tuning, so loading the old OVTuned files would be my preferred method at this time.

I am also curious if the WiFi adapter will be available for purchase again. And if so, will that only be compatible with the OVTune software? Would be nice to use it as a Tactrix connection for other things.

Lastly, I've read that over time people will usually re-flash because the drive map changes. If that's the case, what am I looking at - wear and tear - on the chip that stores the memory? I would imagine it wouldn't be a significant difference since the mapping changes on its own so there is a constant overwrite being done, even without flashing (if I'm understanding correctly). But I will admit, it would be a little annoying to have to constantly re-flash. How often, if any, have you guys re-flashed?

    Thanks for the help!

Are the 2.0 AT files out yet? It would be super helpful if the OP could be kept up to date

The tune pack gives you the files Ovtune has created. You can use them as is, or modify them if there’s something you want to change

first batch of WiFi adapters is sold out. It’s usable with other things (like techstream)

    there’s no need to reflash.

So I made some of the edits that people have been doing here so far. Adjusted shift points in the first primary shift points table, maxed out throttle limits, did the air load control map smoothing. Adjusted the first gear throttle limiter under throttle airflow management to increase gears 1-6 at 125%.

Anyway, I flashed this tune to the truck, reset AT, then let it run idle.

While idling, some visible exhaust fumes were coming out the tail pipe. (It's 73 degrees here). Any clue why this might be? I stopped the truck after 5 minutes and wrote this. Insights are appreciated.

I should add it may very well be non-tune related, and may be paranoid since this is my first customized flash.
Truck has been sitting for about 4 days.

You can flash back to stock (or another tune) and see what happens. I’d think it’s more paranoia tbh

Yeah, it's probs just condensation since it's been wet here the last couple days. I was just about to leave to go camping for the night and test the tune, but I'll start her up again and definitely bring my computer with me.

Everything is good. Sat idle another 10 minutes no problem. About to take her for a two hour drive. Hopefully I'll gain good insights about further tweaks I want to make. Cheers y'all.
