I'm currently running 6112 with 700lb. springs on 4th clip, and my ride is harsh a/f with front bumper and lower skids.
Would I be able to lower my ring setting to 2nd or 3rd position, and maybe place a 1 1/2- 2" spacer for my height in order to soften my ride a bit from the harshness I currently have??? Isn't this what 6" kits do anyways?? I'm also running 33" tires, to note.
Thanks in advance, fellow Taconians. I don't know who or where else to ask???‍♂️‍♂️‍♂️

Just running 6112 on 2nd to the highest setting on 700 springs. I was using the bracket lifts as an example because they use that 4 or 5" spacer.
I'm asking if I lower my spring setting, and get a 1 1/2" spacer, would that soften my ride, or should I just drop a ring setting?? No bracket lifts for me...

The answer is probably. What tires? Did you change those at the same time as installing the 6112?

6112 are digressively valved so when up high in the travel they have a lot of support and compression damping compared to mid travel. 700lb spring is a bit high of a rate unless you have tons of weight over the front, too.

Is there a way to soften up my ride while still keeping or staying close to my current height??

have you tried running 30psi in your tires? but like someone else said maybe 700lb springs is too much.
Icon, Radflo, King etc deal with small bump compliance much better because of their traditional design.
I run 34" tires and Radflo 2.5" mid-travel with extended 1" droop with 800lb springs and bumper with winch (with synthetic line) 270lbs upfront and my truck rides like a caddy in the middle of the travel.
when your truck is sitting static, if you jack up the truck does your front wheel have any more down travel? if you don't have any down travel the ride will be uncomfortable as the shock will be topping out.

Yeah I do have a bit of down travel, and all 4 corners are at 27 lbs. It gives me a flatter ride patch and even wear. I'll still googling options and ideas, but whatever I come up with, I'll be sure to share. Maybe it's just me running 20's, which I knew would be a bit rough, but it's about the same as when I had my 17's and 33's, which is why I asked about this whole thing in the first place. Otherwise, I'd be ok with it. Maybe it is these 700 springs?? I'll let ya'll know what I come up with. Thanks mang. Much appreciated from your fellow Taconian.

20” rims with e load rated tire will be really stiff with the lack of side wall give.

Taken into consideration. Thanks bro. If I do t do anything, I think I'll just ware these tires out and toss up some 37's, and problem will be solved.. Lol!!!
Street manners are actually smooth as butter, but hitting bumps and what not, is where the struggle is real. Thanks again everyone....

I am going thru the same problem. When I am wheeling —— or even in a parking lot over speed bumps, I get a terrible thump. The 6112’s are set the highest setting and I am thinking that there is zero dampening or rebound. In my group, a 4Runner guy had the same problem, he said to drop the 6112’s down two notches. It is very annoying when I go to the beach and riding over moguls, thump thump thump thump thump............

Thanks everyone. I ditched the KM3's for AT3 XLT's in a 205x50 R20 and night and day difference. I'm happy. Then had to replace my carrier bearing, so my ride is smooth as glass now..

There's actually more rubber than what it looks lacking of in this pic.
