I did not know that for the keys. How do you turn them back on?

    Awesome.
Now you got me thinking of an OBD lock, turns out that they are quite common in Europe but not here...US or Canada.

Is there any way to tell that it's actually off or is this a matter of faith?

Unless their 3M tape is die-cut to fit the emblem. Trimming that stuff to match an outline is a bitch, even when done with an Exacto knife.

I don't disagree, but plenty of people take their emblems off and paint them. It is doable, just as you said though, bit of a pain

I had a stainless steel Ducks Unlimited emblem that I removed and tried to reuse. Granted the trimming was much more tedious and complex than a door emblem but after 3 tries I gave up. Looked like do do all three times!
Nothing is impossible but I couldn't get it to look right.

First of two installs done, JLT oil catch can was a piece of cake to do. Need to get some finished shots of the Pro Grill install later.

Finally allowed home after 18 days. My houses are ok but town is just gone.

I was on the fence and considering doing this as a self-fabrication, but when they announced ice-blue, I jumped on it. Glad I did, the wiring harness has 2 outputs, so now I can easily add an led to the bottom pocket. I’m thinking about mounting one in the bottom of the door pull to light the entire pocket.

Turn off the fob, approach the truck and check if it will unlock for ya!

I’ve had descent luck with scissors. I recently bought a hot knife for my instrument cluster project. I’m wondering how that would fair on 3m trim tape.

time for a set of adult scissors. The rounded tips get in the way ;)

Just an FYI, make sure the breather does not close, Try sucking air in through it, if you can't, it closes and will not solve the problem.

Mine is a lowly SR. Only two ways to unlock it, with the key or pressing the button. If pressing the button turns it back on then there's no way to tell it was off to begin with. o_O

Have no idea how tanks didnt explode. Glad our houses made it but have survivors guilt that 100s of homes burned.
