I just bought some of those same solder and seal butt connectors. I used them the first time yesterday and thought they worked pretty well.

I had a dead battery this morning, so had to get that replaced. $150! :annoyed: Batteries are expensive these days even for the Oreillys house brand.

Nice! They really work best with a heat gun i have found. it hard to melt the solder with a lighter.

And yeah i thought my battery was going bad.. turns out the negative post on the batter was a bit to small for clamp and i wasnt getting a good contact. Kept seeing corrosion build up, i ended up shoving a small wall nail in there to get a tighter connection. No issues since!

Reported for driving a soccer mom mobile.:anonymous: Dont want you getting too comfortable with all that OP power.

J/K your doing a great job and did last time as well.
I need ot get out soon. Its been too long and I have a few new ones to break in.
Think I may have spent more on mine at autozone. For some reason I'm still considering a dual setup with even more expensive batteries...
I've had a pack for a while and still ahvent worked on my wiring. I need to try thhem and do have a heat gun I was planning to use. Maybe next weekend I"ll try adn get some of it dons. Probably wont though.
    GL!

2 hours in. Ignore the temp sets, I haven’t adjusted them yet.

Thanks! It’s resting now — never stalled, so I’m about eight hours early on the cook  I have it resting in a cooler with towels and in a pinch, I’ll throw it in the oven at 140 to maintain temp. Here she is at 4 hours
