I completely understand, I would feel the same way. You just can’t beat yourself up over it.

I don’t know if you can turn off the “H” key. I’m pretty sure they were talking about the “smart” keys. However if you really wanted to find out, you could get in the truck, “turn off” your key, then try to start it????

    Super happy about your houses.
My guess on the tank is that it was full.

Felt the same way when a tornado ripped through our town. Suffered some considerable damage while others had nothing left but a cellar hole. I can sympathize with how you feel.
Gives you a whole new perspective seeing things like this in the news. You'll feel it now instead of just seeing it on tv.

Just tried it, it still cranks.

Guess I'll have to invest in a couple of those Faraday pouches.

These were OR wheels I had powdercoated at a local shop. Not color matched.

I’m surprised they honored the warranty claim. At this point Toyota looks for every reason to blame the problem on the vehicle owner

I have an '18 OR and for the life of me I swear I cant get the fob to turn off. When I walk up to the truck the interior lights come one and it unlocks for me. I'll keep trying because I like the sound of this security feature but damn its frustrating

Yeah I am pretty lucky. Seen them a few days ago, but was unsure. Now that I got them, I am glad I did it. 1 hour drive was worth it!

@Rottencotton I’m sorry about my attitude. I was planning on working on the truck today and got called into work at the last minute. Didn’t mean to involve you in my temper tantrum.
