This sucks. Got these a while ago brandy new and they won't fit on my BAMF bar..bolts are too thick.

Maybe I can trade for something similiar in price that will fit..anyone?

Damn, KC lights. That is a blast from the early 80s.

how does the bar look like?

Is it possible to use the KC light mounts that I have?
When I got the Avid light bar, I got it without light tabs, so I had to get the KC mounts for it. They work well and are solid....

    Doesn't look like it no

Not much room between the slots, I don't want to fuck it up.

This one, sans the LED bracket:

Dumb question about the lights. I don’t know the architecture but is the mounting hardware accessible and could you wrangle in a smaller bolt somehow?

Not sure but I think I'd have to disassemble the whole housing to do so, at best it's a project and I would rather not mess with a brand new set of lights and risk breaking something.

Still have em. Figured I'd sell them, had the KCs a few years now just in the box. Bought a behind the grill bar.

Mount Washington photos from late September a few years ago. The album is public, so you should not need to have a Facebook account to see them.

Before I take the leap and raptor line my truck, I decided to practice and spray my snugtop topper. I going to spray it black on Monday night. All the prep work is done, tarped and ready to go.

Will this raptor line help keep your LCA attached?

So happy to be back in New England. I haven't had Linguica since I left AK and it certainly wasn't the good Gaspar's stuff. Market Basket near me carries it. YUM!

I just got one of these: https://www.makitatools.com/products/details/XWT15Z

It's awesome! It seems to have significantly more torque than my old corded Milwaukee impact that's probably close to triple the size and weight.

Makita makes one that has over 1000 lb ft but for what I do this is more practical. This is strong enough to handle lug nuts and is small enough to be useful for a brake job.

I picked up an 18V 1/2" Ridgid impact a couple years ago for cheap. Home Depot runs sales on them from time to time. The thing is awesome for everything I use it for. I'm slowly going cordless for everything garage related.

My tire rotation drill is now impact wrench off, impact driver on, then torque to spec. Faster than a NASCAR pit crew---well, maybe not, but it's pretty fast and easy.

I have quite a bit of Makita stuff now. I have Milwaukee at work and they both have pros and cons but once you start with one you're pretty stuck if you want the same batteries for everything.
