Many have come before me but I found out just how fail those damn Wavian safety fill spouts are. Gas everywhere.

Ended up ordering one of these from Amazon, perfection.

I use this. Don’t even have to take the cans off the bumper. Science!

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

We bought the exact same siphon before our last trip. Haven't had to actually use it, but made WAY more sense than spilling gas all over the side of the truck.

San Quintin was pretty cool, I remember stopping at Gastons restaurant nearby during a surf trip.

    Damn! Good memory.

That was from when we encountered some Czech tourists on Naciamento-Ferguson Road near Fort Hunter-Liggett.

The guy was super low on gas (like almost empty) on a rented Harley.
When he saw us siphon onto a gallon zip lock and then siphon into his moto he was all grins!
He drove a support truck in the Dakar Rally. I’m sure he’s seen worse!

I’m replacing the zip locks with dry disconnects. Disconnect the fuel line, plug in the coordinating hose, turn on the aux tank fuel pump that normally pumps into the main tank and now pumps out the hose and pump fuel into another vehicle or wherever.

Well to everyone who messaged and responded with advice and such about getting my wheel spacers off... thank you! Came off with a little heat thankfully I didn’t use as much red lot it was I thought. And if anyone is interested in some spidertrax spacers with about 400 miles on them I’ll make you a deal!
