So @Twizted and I are trying out a new Thai place and I'm thinking we may have chosen poorly. Took a while to get seated (in the dark) and then a while to order. When ordering we went with the highest spice level because well, we're in Montana. The lady is asks if we've eaten here before and we tell her no so she recommends a lower spice level. No, thanks we'll stick with our high one. She's like we'll then you've gotta eat it because apparently everyone else can't handle it without coughing.

We're still waiting seated in this little side room extended from their main seating area in the dark. This should be interesting.

 

Given where you live, I dont have high hopes.

We keep our expectations low for any sort of "ethnic" cuisine. There's a Vietnamese place out here that's amazing at least.

Still nothing and we only ordered 2 dishes.

 

Well that's annoying. Buddy and I did sushi on Monday at a pretty good place around 5pmish. We were the only ones there and the service was beyond awesome, as was the food

Yep, spicy and delicious! Definitely not a "level 5" but good enough for a little sniffle.

Yeah, they def toned it down a bit. She didn't believe you. You gotta assert dominance and ask for some chili oil.

 

No, it was pretty spicy and most would call it a level 5. We tend to go pretty high with our spice especially with Thai and we came from an area with a large Asian population. We were spoiled.
