Installed a Leer 100XR & Leer (Tepui) RTT last month. Made my own shell mounts to keep the rails open for other uses. Made my own tent mount. Installed an Air-Lift overload today to help with the added weight.

Agree ! I have not done nameplates and such but on some other projects, I have had some great success with this heavy duty tape from Gorilla. This stuff is insane:

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Finally had a chance to look over the truck after driving with fire everywhere and only a little blistering of the expel in a couple of places. Tomorrow an all day cleaning.

what is the process to go about installing one of these? More interested in this than say, a VIAIR portable compressor.

Installed a procomp 2.25 spacer lift up front and 1" block in rear and now throwing code for stabilatrac and tss. I expected the tss, will try another washer or 3 to adjust the angle, didn't expect the stabilitrac issue, are the 2 related? What did i do wrong?
2020 off road, 2wd. Just disconnected negative battery and waited to see if its resets itself ugh!
    Ugh

It's not too hard. As the picture shows, I mounted it on the passenger side, near the firewall. There is plenty of room there for it.

I used a tray from Slee Off Road. That mounts up with a few bolts and existing bolt holes. The compressor mounts right on top of that tray. Then it's just wiring. The wiring harnesses come with the compressor. I put the switch in that cubby, on the left side of the steering wheel. The hardest part was finding an appropriate acc wire and dash light wire to tap into for the switch.

Installed sumo springs today. With a cap on and empty bed they just start touching the frame. Should be a big help when I load up for camping.
