I waited 2-3 months for a very similar holster last year that I bought direct from safariland, I think a lot of it is backlog on safarilands end.
But if it is December before I get a shipping notification then I’ll definitely say that at least part of the wait was on optics planet. I waited 4 weeks for them to ship my Vortex HS-T when I bought it.

Jake, never order anything from Optics Planet unless you don’t mind waiting another calendar year, even on “in stock” items.

Worst vendor I’ve ever bought from, for anything.

I took a chance with them recently and got my Ballistic Advantage barrel in less than a week. Shipped the day after I ordered.

I think they’re pretty hit or miss, my other part of my order shipped next day.

I drove aroud for about 5 hours today and hit 5 gun shops. I got 1 yes 1 box of 9mm ammo. They only allowed 1 box per calliber per person. I couldn't even find any 308 for the deer rifle

I have some .308 ammo and my .308 isn’t set up right now, how bad do you need it? I could let a box or two go for 2019 prices if you cover shipping, I’m pretty sure I have a box or two of core lokt or something similar.

I appreciate it. I have plenty for the season if not I'll pull the bow back out. I was really checking availabillity compared to pistol ammo. It appears all ammo has been affected. Thank you for the offer though

I haven’t even bothered checking stores around here, I checked Academy and they had a few oddball rounds, 6.5 creedmoor, and shotgun (low brass) ammo but that was about it.
Local pawn shop that is “the” gun shop around here has quite a bit of ammo but not cheap.

One of the shops I was in today said they had seen a guy sitting in a parking lot selling 9mm 20 rounds in a ziplock bag for $25 and folks were snapping it up. Just regular ball ammo for targets nothing special

That sucks, my Aunt and Uncle live just south of you in Madison and they bought their first handgun a few months ago, the dealer had no .38 special available and gave them 5 rounds of hollowpoints and about 15 rounds of FMJ from his personal stash so they could use it if they had too. They visited us about a month later and I gave them a box of .38 special that a coworker had given me because I had no use for it.

To those who depend on gun shops for ammo, one word. Reload. I’ve heard all the excuses. Usually from someone who needs ammo.

I reload. Doesn’t help when there are no primers to be had, or when powder is about as hard to find as 9mm ammo. Any preparation regardless of handloading vs factory anmo should have been months, or rather years ago. But those of us who stocked piled where the “idiot gun nuts.”
