Yes. It is stainless. I considered something else that was painted or even painting the Slee tray. I decided that the stainless should hold up for many years of abuse without paint.

All things considered; the tray will probably last longer than the compressor. We'll see.

I’ve seen those and they are nice but just something about the Pro was more of what I wanted.

It's very rewarding to know that the video was helpful to you.

I couldn't have pulled this one without the help of @caribe makaira !

Out with the chrome. In with the black. Wasn't an exact fit. Not all parts came apart as seen in the video. Happy with the finish.

If you look on Youtube you'll see lots of videos on OBD thefts. I agree it's common there but it's how they did a lot of the ones out here. There "was" (might still exist) an organized theft ring who took the vehicles straight to the Montreal port and they were in containers and shipped abroad. A few were recovered due to the GPS on a 2020 model which lead the cops to a stash... I would just rather avoid all this crap and protect my truck. I think if they can't get their equipment to work they won't spend time looking for the actual plug. You can install the fake OBD yourself. They are available on eBay.

For Smartkeys hold Lock pressed while you press Unlock twice. The light will flash 4 times indicating it's disabled.

I have read that they were very good initially but now they've quietly changed the formula for the rubber compound and are not nearly as good as they were. I was thinking of getting them but now I'm hesitant. I'm waiting until spring probably though, so luckily have some time to do research and see if it turns out to be true.

I just bought a brand new pair that I am putting on when my truck arrives around Oct 16th. More than happy to give you my opinion of them after I ride them for a few k, just send me a mssage before you are ready to buy. I am a highway runner all week and beacher on the weekends. I had heard the rumor you mentioned above but I got such a good deal it was hard to pass up, I ended up with 4 for 550 from labor day sale. And after I sell mint unused OEMs, should be easily worth the shot. I got 265/70/17s.
