Good mornin everyone. I'm looking at a rack and cover that can be put on the truck at the same time...I've already looked at the back flip which is compatible with a rack and also a kvoodoo rack that does the same..the problem that I've noticed is that these racks tent to have a lower capacity (around 200lbs) so I am now looking for a utility rack and a tonneau cover that are both super easy to install and remove...I needto have the cover on most of the time but also need to take a 13ft kayak and long prices of lumber/aluminum often times...so I'm thinking if I can remove the cover and install the rack easily...I would rather get a rack rated for more weight (seen a lot of the non compatible racks that can hold about 800 lbs)...do you guys have any suggestions? Also...since the kayak is long....I would prefer to get the racks that have an extra cross beam that extents to the top of the cabin. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Is that 200 lbs static or dynamic weight? My KB Voodoo rack has a 200 lb dynamic eating, but 500 lb static rating, which I believe is per bar, but could be wrong. If that's the case, I wouldn't think you'd have much of an issue. I run my 150-ish lb RTT on mine without issue.

Well the compatible ones with the cover...do state that the 200lbs are dynamic...but the stand alone racks nerve include that info...they just say ..500/800 or 1000lbs...no details about dynamics

It's up to you, of course, but I believe most of the time when they give a weight and don't specify, they're usually giving the dynamic weight.

Do you have any links to the ones you are considering?

But... its bolt on and go! That's worth a lot.
