with a ton of flex because C-channel. I want to stiffen it up so it tows nicer. thats been my only gripe is how squirrely the rear end is on that truck. Adding the cap actually made a noticeable difference. I think if i build the cap cage it would help a bit too. (plus i could put a big ol roof rack for storing shit if i go on long trips)

This is wild. I ordered some parts OEM from Partsouq at 9:00 PM last night. The parts shipped at 11:17 AM today.

 

You caught em in the middle of their workday. I love ordering from those guys.

 

Yep.. It works for me cause I usually figure out what I need to order on a Saturday.

Parts should be here Thursday.

It's about the same wait for domestic orders.

 

It sounds petty, but I can't afford the extra markup buying OEM parts from Wits End all the time. I made a list with the parts I needed there and before tax or shipping it was over $900. I went to PartSouq and added the same parts plus a few more not small ticket items that Wits End didn't have and I was under $600 shipped to my door still. Sometimes it just makes sense to go closer to the source when what youre after is low volume import.

 

A guy with a 100 series in Germany pulled the frame and had it galvanized as preventative maintenance. Lots of work for a complete frame-off restoration.

 

I'm telling you. I priced some torsion bar adjusters for $132 at McGeorge. Bought at PartSouq for $78. Shipping was 2x McGeorge, but still a huge difference. I bought some other parts with the savings.

 

That's the thing about them the shipping only cost is much as the biggest heaviest part. Anything else you add in is just pennies on top. So if you're going to do a big order it makes sense to do it with them

 

They sell parts for just about everything international except Rolls Royce, Bentley, or Jaguar. It must be a huge operation.

Btw since ur 2wd and u understand, what u think about something like this to pop on my tires while im capping my deckplate before hitting trails? For 12 bucks i figure u cant lose lol
