There was a guy on the ride that was taking a lot of pictures with a nice camera, he said he was posting them on some ones Facebook page and I forgot to get a link, do you happen to know who he was?

That was a fun day. We left home at 0630 and got home last night at 2230.

I think the only trail damage I had was breaking my hitch step, I either snapped it tugging out folks or broke it dropping on a rock. It'll weld back together just fine though. I still need to clean up the truck and take a closer look though, my skids will definitely need touched up.

Chris, thanks for leading a great ride, and it was good finally meeting you. Preston, you're crazy - I can't believe how well you did in 2WD. I was impressed by the stock height 3rd gen too, I don't think I got your name though, great driving. Jonny, Jeanie, Brian, Tyler, Jeff, anyone else I forgot - good seeing y'all again and riding with y'all again.

I'm not on Facebook - is there a public group those FJs were with? The guy with the black manual FJ and the guy in the blue FJ were both nice. Blue FJ seemed really experienced with offroading, he was a great spotter.

Great trip guys! I had a blast. Just unpacked now sitting on the couch in a coma:rofl:
Anyways truck did better than I could have imaged and performed on point! Use the crap out of my skids and sliders. Lots of scrapes and dings. My LCA skids took some pretty big hits. One actually bent a little. 3/16 steel so that shocking. I did bang it had going forwards on a big ass rock though which stopped the entire truck!

over great trip and can’t wait for the next ride!

I can say that my skids and sliders paid for themselves this trip. Dropping on sliders and dragging on skids all throughout this ride. The most challenging and technical ride we've been on yet! I dropped down so hard on my right slider, that it pushed it up into my rocker panel, barely scraping a little paint. I can't imagine the damage if I didn't have sliders. Skids are dented to hell and back, time to pull them and beat em with a BFH and repaint! There was carnage on the trail, but none from me this ride!

Here's my picture dump, Jeannie is gonna put together a video as soon as she can get to it!

Thank you @Gilmorec61 for putting together an awesome ride! About 12 vehicles, it was a Toyota take over of Coppinger Cove! Nice to meet you Drew and the Wild n Free offroad group.

Safe to say skids will be put ahead of regear & lockers after seeing the pictures.

Looks like y'all had a blast!

I would honestly say that skids and sliders are a minimum if you don't want damage to your truck on this trail.

Those sliders were the only thing that kept @pdaddy from having severe body damage this weekend.

I'll try my hardest to make the next one. I can make arrangements for a Nov ride either in AL or up there at the Cove.

I'm definitely going back to the Cove, probably the best ride I've been on since riding with the Bama group!

Mine got slammed up into my rocker panel a bit. Damage would have been terrible without sliders!
