Orange bezel -- does it come without any "other" orange?

I'm in the process of (I hope) buying my first Tacoma, but it's located remotely. I configured what I wanted online on the Toyota website and the dealer found one that looks good on paper. TRD Off Road 4x4 Manual in Cement w/ Premium and Tech packages.

However, when they sent me pictures, it had the orange bezel on the dash, which I see mentioned here but is completely nonexistent (from what I can tell) in Toyota's online build webpage.

Looks like there are multiple aftermarket options to replace the trim -- but from the pictures she sent, there's no other orange in the truck that I can see. The black leather seats look all black. Does that make sense? From all the posts on here, any mention of the orange bezel package also includes other orange trim and/or orange stitching on the black leather. I'm just afraid I'm missing some other orange that I'm going to dislike when they deliver it.

Appreciate any insight you guys have.

 

I believe the seats might have orange stitching too.

My 2019 OR came with the orange bezels and my leather seats are just black. No other orange. Got the dealer to give me a set of black bezels with the deal.

 

The stitching on the seats is orange, but it's just the bezel on the dash that is orange.

If there is no orange stitching, then the previous owner probably switched out the gray bezel for the orange.

 

This is the weird thing...it’s brand new, never titled. It’s almost like the dealer yanked it from another one.

 

Hmmm ok so it’s not unheard of I guess.

Do you have any idea what the bezels cost the dealer, or I guess they just threw it in as part of the sale?

This is probably the case. I have cloth seats.

 

Ahhhh. Cloth vs. leather, that makes sense.

Still confused as to why I can't seem to make this colored bezel even show up when I build a OR Premium/Tech on the website. Hopefully the dealer can just set it straight with a silver or black one.

 

Orange cloth gets orange stitching with orange bezel, leather seats are unchanged with that option and do not have orange stitching, nothing fishy.

 

Because the build site forces your hand into your regions allocations / specific builds, dealer can do a special allocation request and option it how you are wanting.

 

Yeah they threw it in.

 

It’s a easy fix. Trade at the dealer, start a thread and meet local to exchange or.....
Paint it to match the body color!

That is SWEET! Was it hard to do? I'm getting a 2021 Voodoo Blue TRD OR hopefully in November. Trim isn't colored (I hope...nothing mentioned when I 'built' it on Toyota's website) but I could see the trim painted to match the Voodoo Blue color.

 

No easy it pretty much pulls right off just need to pull it slow. The tabs around the air vents are tge one thing to be careful with. Clean them and a scotch brite buff.
Tons of threads and you tube videos to show you how to remove them. I just went to Menards/Home Depot and got a can close enough and did it!


and you should have enough left over for other items!
