If you need the chrome emblem, I have one from the center section that I cut out when I did my Satochi grille. Catch me before my next run to the dump.

Alternator died and replaced with one from ebay seller BNR. Replaced with a 165 amp alt.

Simple to install. Took about 4 hours, because I didn't know what I was doing.

 

165 alt amp ? That’s a perfect match?

 

It's closest to 2 and 1/4 though in truth it's somewhere in between 2-in and 2 1/4. My Flowmaster didn't sound half bad on my four-banger but I'd get one of the bigger ones if you're going to put it on a V6 those mufflers pretty much single-handedly invented drone

 

Looking good! are you going to use a flex pipe to attach it to the rest of the exhaust so it can flex with the drivetrain?

 

They sell different alt with different amps. Paid 168 with extortion fees from California.

 

why not just cut and dump above the axle?

 

My guess is to "do something different'

thats where it always was. but i was in process of painting bumper and got the idea. much quieter inside the cab when the exhaust isnt resonating off bottom of truck

 

@devinzz1 that's definitely a different looking exhaust set up.

 

theres alot of things differently about this truck ahah.

oh and before anyone mentions it. if you look closely around the exhaust holes you can kinda see an outer ring. thats hightemp paint around the outlets so it doesnt just burn bedliner off

not to hijack these recent posts, but what is the best bed liner, I took my plastic one out

 

So i thought the bulb for my check engine light was out and I need it to work to pass stupid cali smog. The other day it came on for just a second but now won't come on again what might this be?

 

Are you going with a color matched product?

 

When I finally get around to it this is what I'll be using. I've done a couple golf carts, it went on easy and has held up well.
