Not really, my pup is either a white shepherd or a golden shepherd, my sisters dog is (we think) lab/shepherd mix.
    image.jpg

    Me neither, it’s weird!

I had considered that but she seems to like her food (it’s a mix of adult dog food and sensitive skin formula) but oddly enough it’s always the adult food that she drops, she absolutely devours the sensitive skin formula food.

Is there a size difference in the kibble? Ours will sometimes do that when she has a mouthful of small stuff, every now and then she eats too much/fast and starts to hack. She won't go back to it if it hits the floor.

Yep, the sensitive skin formula is small and flatter than the regular kibble.

Dammit, Breed only wants cash and banks are closed. So I gotta wait until they open to get my Doberman pup.

Got the house puppy proofed (if that's actually possible) at least today.

Do you have a crate, food bowls, food (check with the breeder for brand), bed, toys, leash and collar, and all that other stuff?

Gonna be awesome to get your puppy!

One of our girls does that. We think it's a social thing. We sometimes eat in the living room (especially watching movies) and with her bowl in the kitchen she can't snack with us. So, she grabs a mouthful, brings it to the living room, crunch crunch crunch.

We gate the dogs out of the kitchen/dining room when we're all gathered at the table because they want to be underneath us and we ain't having that. So...after we let them in, they will pick up their food and carry it 3 feet to eat in under the table where we were sitting.

We laugh, and call them "food Legos" and are why we all wear slippers in the house.

Yes sir, I could start a dog product wearhouse haha! Not my first rodeo though, I lost my Doberman Fletcher about 9 months ago and have been waiting for a pup for a long time. It's crazy how this pup came out of no where. The breeder was going to keep her for herself and decided she wants a male instead and offered her up forsale. We didn't hear anything from her for a few weeks and all of sudden, it's hey you want a puppy?

Puppies are great. Whole lot of work, but I love how everything interests them. I'm gonna train this little one in German like my last Dober. Man I miss him, not to mention it's easier to train a pup with a trainred dog around. A few years ago I trained a German Shepard pup for one of my friends with Fletcher and she just picked up everything from him. It was great. Fetching, sitting, staying, ringing the bell to go out etc..

Ullie does this too! Grabs a mouth full, walks into the living room and leaves it or eats it there and goes back for more and then takes it outside!! It's pretty annoying! He is a grazer though! RARELY ever eats all of his food in one sitting, pretty much just eats when he is hungry.

Curious if its from maybe growing up with other dogs and making sure he got some food, wants to eat in peace! Not really sure of his background so that was one of my thoughts!

Oddly he also gets a milkbone and some other snacks in his crate! He will not eat the milkbone until I get home and let him out of the crate!
