Mind blowing right. I feel so sorry for whoever pays 50k for a used 18 sport. Not that sports aren’t awesome because they are but NO Tacoma on this planet even new off the assembly line is worth 50k.

California never ceases to amaze me... I financed my 2020 Pro for almost $10k less than that, and if I didn't have a trade then it would have only cost me $6k more to go with a brand new Pro.

I know right, it’s stupid out here on these used taco prices. When I saw that ad for 50k on a used 18 sport, I laughed so hard and was thinking who in there right mind would ever pay that much. But in reality, someone will. That’s the sad truth.

Placed an allocation order about a week ago. Should get it the 1st week of November. It was the only 2021 Off-road access cab Army green without the Technology package available in a 3-state area.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
One week they had 7. Next week zero. Lots of VW Touaregs, though

"High Class Auto Sales " is a BHPH lot. Not representative of actual pricing. They like to fleece unwary low FICO score buyers and bury the ridiculous price in an 84 or 96 month payment.

Not sure where you're getting your info. Perhaps that's your particular dealer's situation. But the Kentucky plant is working 10 hour days plus every other Saturday to meet production demands. They produce several models...Camry, Camry Hybrid, Avalon, Avalon Hybrid, RAV4 Hybrid, Lexus ES and ES Hybrid.

They also have a powertrain plant and produce not only all of their own engines, but engines for the Highlander and Sienna produced in Indiana.

    They have been very busy.

Last week when I went to the dealer all the people who were there buying vehicles were buying RAV4s or Camrys. There was a guy there picking up a Tacoma.

It's simple man. Very simple. My local home town dealer has A LOT OF CAMRYS. THEY ARE NOT SELLING WELL. That's all I am saying.

They had rows and rows of them. That's all.

The key to selling a high volume vehicle is to have a diverse selection of inventory....lots of colors, varying trims and options. You want a customer to be able find just what they're looking for while they're on the lot.

Toyota likes to keep a 30 day supply of Camrys in the field at any given time. That translates into "a lot of Camrys" at a given dealer. And while Camry sales are off some from this time last year (as are most non truck/SUV models) due to Covid, recovering inventory levels and cheap gas....they're still quite healthy

Still though, I don’t care what kind of car lot it is, pricing a used sport at 50k is absurd. Even in this thread you see 47 and 48k for used tacomas as well at a big Toyota dealer so who knows. Either way, it’s outta control.

I think pro was 51k when i was looking to buy a taco in 2018. I remember it was about 60k with taxes and all. It was my dream truck but at 60k GTFO.
