It's a cool area, 1 mountain over from Big Bear Lake but a very different kind of community. Lake Arrowhead is smaller and only residents have lake privileges, public can only get on the lake via the tour boat or if you're with someone local that has lake rights. Keeps it way less crowded and less touristy
