I'm looking to make an offroad build as time, money, and my wife allow. I have a blank slate. Any ideas?

You gotta give a little information. Fist in foremost what’s your budget? 500$, 5000$, $25000?

I take it you are planning to convert your 3rd Gen in your picture into a serious off road vehicle? One step at a time....

Minor lift and tires is a good place to start....

Off-road as in crawling up a hill and over rocks, or off-road as in down desert trails at high speed? Or maybe off-road as in driving to hawaii?

I have a lot of ideas but my parole officer and therapist said it would be better for me to keep those to myself. PM me though if you ever want to just talk about lotions or sewing.

    It's a secret
Don't plan to have kids...you will save a lot of money you can spend on your truck instead.

That's the only idea I can come up with that is most practical.

Besides, the earth is way over populated anyway that the human race should be good until our Sun dies out...

A used Ultra4 car will save you a lot of time and be ready to go. The Campbell built Dragon Slayer that won KOH '17 is up for sale for $275,000. That's my idea.

First thing I did was buy some better tires for my 19 TRD ORDC. Pulled the stock Goodyear Kevlars off at 1100 miles.
I went with BFG All Terrain KO2's. I've run 3 sets on my previous Tacoma's with good results.
