Your tailgate reinforcement is on my list. It's just after I find transmission and transfer case skid plates for my lowly regular cab. It's tough being the red headed step child of the Tacoma Kingdom. :D

I ran 275s for a few years. Good over all size. Worked well in Florida. Drivability was good.
    However limited selection in tires.

Lift goes in the on 8th so I’m thinking about getting new wheels and tires

I have these wheels that I forgot who makes them I think xd with 270/70/17 Hankooks on them. If I decide to sell them what do you guys think is a fair asking price for the combo? Wheels are dirty in the pics

They're American Racing ATX Thugs. I had those years ago.. I'm pretty sure I put them up for $500 on CL and took $300 for the set of wheels with no tires.

I can't help you on the info side, but I'd be more than happy to help you on the install side. I owe you and wouldn't mind learning more about dual battery set ups with hands on assistance.

I have a IBS dual battery setup and sometimes I run 3 batteries for extended camping (92lbs 155amp/hr AGM 3rd).
    https://www.tctmagazine.net/july-2015-volume-8-issue-3/ibs-dbs-dual-battery-system-install
The blue seas sucks. The IBS ties both batteries together so even if you lost a cell and dropped to 7volts on both batteries it can combine them and make them run. It lets you run the 2nd battery down and part of the primary but protects the primary from not being able to start the car. Run your wiring off the 2nd battery for aux stuff. It also directs the charging to the primary first and then the secondary. It's truly brilliant. It let me run two 6 and 7 year old AGM failing batteries to almost 8 years. and I just replaced 2nd battery and left the sub 11volt primary AGM in place. Has a manual button to tie both batteries for winching but normally does it automatically.

Highly recommended as I have had the setup for almost 9 years. I have had solar tied into it numerous times.

It'll be getting disassembled and cleaned and checked over, but no major upgrades to any internals, other than what may be broken/damaged.

I'll be beating the piss out of it with a high boost turbo setup, so we'll see how it holds up. I'm duplicating a buddies build basically.

For anyone interested, "Adventure Rigs" is happening at FourTillFour coffee in Scottsdale tomorrow. Ill be there in the Blazer. Theres usually a ton of cool shit that shows up, Unimogs, lots of old Rovers, cabover expedition vehicles, the occasional EarthRoamer etc. Supposedly starts at 8am but the really good shit usually shows up between 7 and 8 and is typically gone by 830.

What’s your guy’s thoughts on standard clearance bumper vs high clearance? I was planning to buy an hc without the tire carrier and the other options because it gets way to expensive.

Just found a new standard clearance with single swing arm, table and powder coat for hundreds less than just it would cost me to get just the basic hc bumper. Not sure if I should go for it
