Have you changed any shift points or did the air tables make all the difference?

I have not had this 3rd to 4th issue with the stock tune or any of the 2.0 Base tunes. I don't know how you would rate this ridiculously hard shift. I encountered this on at least one of the betas and possibly on 1.05 (can't remember for sure). My truck did not like 1.05 at all though, even after resetting LV & AT. I would rate the ridiculously hard 3-4 shift as scary hard. Depending on which tune I was on, it either felt like another vehicle hit me and/or locked the rear tires just long enough to bark the the tires. At that speed testing in the dark it scared the shit out of me. I tested those tunes a while ago and don't remember which ones did what. In hindsight, I should have made notes on each tune.

Just curious did you eliminate all the humps or just the one in the 800-2000 range of all 4 tables?
I also smoothed out each engine speed column like above after doing the 800-2000 range. But, I only did it only on the .99 tables because I didn't understand until your post what Mat meant by 4 axis and 4 tables. On a couple drives it seemed fine without any dead pedal.

Ya, that one is pretty bad. When you're waiting for that shift and it it is even worse and it barks the tires like it hit reverse for a split second, you will need to wipe also. It may actually be engaging two gears at the same time for a split second.

P.S. Special thanks to @Mooseditty17 to get us started from his post I missed a week ago. My truck is running/driving way better now. Thank you Sir.

Try reducing your 2-3 shift to 6400 rpm and your 3-4 shift to 6200 rpm and see if that shift issue goes away. The engine stops pulling at that high of rpm and is struggling to make it to your shift points. You would be better off shifting sooner to use the lower rpm torque of the next gear up, instead of waiting for a shift to happen at an rpm that your truck is struggling to achieve.

Just humps and dips for .82&.99 im 800-2000 and it drove very good, but I started noticing some limitations.
Also noticed that when I "smoothed" out the range I had a big gap between numbers in some areas. Mat's example had better transition. Perhaps that transition was felt in stop and go traffic.

That makes sense. I'll give it a go. I really don't have ANY need to go that fast, but if I do, I sure as hell don't want the truck to shift like that.

Anyone else notice that Mat's values were identical for the 0.82 and 0.99 for both Control Airflow and Expected Airflow?

So when we create our own tune can you flash that tune to any truck with the same ECU ID? Or is it still registered to only your truck?

and as another note, the air control files are exactly the same between 04B04 and 04A61 so the files Mat posted applies to 04A61 ECUs too
