I don’t think the original maps were the same for 0.82 and 0.99. Need to go back and check.

ummmmmm... I ...uhhh... M/T ...uhh... yea.

sorry... mighta shorted out a few of the really old remaining brain cells. Good to remember why I bought a tune pack vs. starting from scratch

Are you referring to the "Acceleration Shifting" tables at the bottom of the list in vF Tuner? Specifically the first "Acceleration - Primary Throttle Torque Target" one? The first table is the only one that displays the RPM range that I was interested in, so I'm guessing that why you called that one out? Would you have a recommendation on how to approach this? Maybe smooth (ctrl-I) the range I'm interested in?

I reviewed the example and modeled my custom tune based on it. I was close to what you provided but the update does smooth out some aggressive throttle I had in my own attempt....thanks for the file!!

Nah. That first map (Acceleration - Primary Throttle Torque Target) is your throttle pedal. You can edit it, but I found that is only narrows the response range. Sort of like a Pedal Commander since 87.5% is the max angle. I intend to play with it more in the future, but the Air Load Control or the Acceleration - Primary Throttle Torque Target Gear 1 will do what you want. @OVTune said that Gear 1 now applies to all MT gears.

I edited the Air Load Control maps (and am extremely happy with them) before @OVTune noted that they were mainly for the AT.

however looks like it is showing wrong. I will post a new version 1.2.5.6 that corrects this.

So what did we just f*ck up by making the .82 and .99 the same?

Any advice yet on those shifts?

    Nothing.
The example I provided makes both maps the same for both lambdas 0.82 and 0.99.

I wouldn't provide the example that way if it didn't work.

Just for the record, I wasn’t pointing out the maps being the same as a concern, just an interesting difference from what was in the original files. If best practice is to make them match, that is a good tidbit of info to know.

Does this include anything for Rev Hang with clutch depressed? for MT B14?

I'd offered the test maps I'd reviewed for Mat, you never said anything about them. :notsure: you'd just need to unlock B14 and copy everything to your B41

Are you sure that was about rev hang?

I seem to recall a discussion about throttle response with clutch in surrounding that test file, maybe including rev hang.. I'm unsure about that part.

I appreciate the offer, but I'm not going to spend money to unlock another ECU at this point. I'm not flashing any truck at this stage but my own.

I'm waiting for Mat to point us M/T folks in a specific direction to deal with rev hang (or supplying us with a patch), rather than pouring over several maps in a file I have no idea about. Guessing, basically.

    Fair enough.

As for the point of the test, I can't remember but the file is named Rev_Hang_Clutch_Hang :notsure:
