I had to use a compressor. You can get the coil lose by doing it your way but I still had to compess to take it out

This stuff is really cool. Back when I was 18/19 years old, we used to get drunk in the hills outside of the town I grew up in and there was this old military site up at the top of one of the mountains we all knew as "the Nike base". It was all gated up but there were never any signs of life up there, so kids would break through the gate all the time. There was a huge underground missile silo platform there and launch station, along with a few old run down buildings. US Government signs warning to stay away etc.

Apparently it was one of many old, decommisioned missile bases along the west coast built to defend against bombers and nuclear attacks up until the Cold War

I heard about 10 years ago the nike base got closed up for real this time, not sure if they just gated it off better or what. Haven't tried going back there since I was probably 19, wouldn't be surprised if they just closed that road off for good.

Okay sweet thank you. As far as disconnecting components to get in and out the spring, can i get away with only disconnecting the uca if i compress?? or expect to do the sway bar too. Ill need to check the torque specs too

I think that's got more to do with America's obesity problem than it does with dudes jumping into their lifted trucks
