Was quoted the same. Better to do them yourself. Like others have said it is really simple on the 2020. Wires are already there.

dude, I was quoted this for a tailgate lock and install:

    > Parts and prices, Harness and special key, $175 harness, Key $265 plus labor. Because its new, Service said use 3 hours. If less time is needed we will charge less. 3 hours is $494.85

I just WTF’d out of that. Ordered the lock from BAM for like $130 and gonna instal myself. Ridiculous, especially given the truck hasn’t even made it to port yet.

Installed the front bedrail during my coffee-break. Ready for Backrack install tonight.....if the rain holds off.
No, the rail is not used for the install but the access to the outermost bolts is compromised.

Yeah, I was never going to have them do it (I like doing stuff myself, even if I fk it up :) . They included a bunch of things I could still add to the sale like including the bed lighting and had prices. I am still waiting to hear how much they would charge me to install/balance my falkens when the truck comes in from texas,,,should be an interesting number. A small part of me thinks, dyamn buying a 40k truck, maybe they'll just throw it in for free,,,,then the rest of me laughs hysterically. :)

    No issues of them.

Now as a word of caution: I believe Tacomabeast has an install video. Watch it. The instructions they send are not the most clear. The wiring from the truck to the wires on the taillights has to be done just so when connecting them. It's nothing complicated, but if you connect the wires wrong, it'll blow a fuse under the dash and then you have to replace it (which is exactly what happened to me).

    Daraholsters makes modular/mountable systems.

Also Safariland QLS fork is pretty modular.

so has anyone replaced their spare tire with a bigger tire to compensate for the 285/70/17.

If so what tire size are you running on the 16" spare wheel?

I was gonna do a 5th wheel but with me buying my house im going to need the bed of my truck a lot to move stuff so i dont want to deal with a full sized aftermarket wheel and tire.

You *should* be able to fit a 285 under the bed if you bend the tabs, I believe.

I know that wasn't the question, but just an FYI for ya.
