    I am in a hurry. Gotta buy before the girlfriend can say no lol. That tank alone is like $400 and that stand is probably another 200. If I don’t get a response by Friday, I’m just going to go with the petsmart top fin 55g tank and one of their basic steel stands that’s 80 bucks

    edit: it sounds like you’re not a fan of acrylic tanks. What’s your thoughts on them? If you think I should avoid acrylic I’ll take your advice

    I wouldn't own an acrylic tank unless it was in the 300+ gallon size. There isn't much to gain with the added price, besides maybe a little clarity. That's only if it is scratch free, but you can just rub against it and scratch it; the inside is a different story. I would buy a new glass tank and stand any day over used acrylic :thumbsup:
