I will be looking to buy a new or certified used TRD OR DC in the next month or two. Anybody have advice about the best dealer within 150 miles of Albany, NY? Thanks in advance....

I live 40 miles north of Albany, but can drive where ever for a great deal... I have started the Google route, but come up with the same 10 trucks every time, and 5 of them are in Colorado[IMG]

I am willing to travel for it, if it would save me a bunch of cash....

I just bought a 2011 Access cab from Clifton Park Toyota after shopping around. They were friendly, knowledgable, and gave me a fair deal.

I thought I would get a better deal in Albany at Lia but they didn't offer me as much on my trade. When I was ready to talk the deal I called the salesman that I had talked to the week before. He talked me into coming down because he wouldn't talk numbers on the phone. Understandable I guess so I drove down. When I showed up at the dealer he talked to me briefly and said he would be with me shortly. After almost 30 minutes he spoke to me again. After waiting almost another 30 minutes I left and will never go back again. If he was going to be that long with another customer he should have had someone else deal with me.

    That's my $.02

ahh, nice. i know you said you were lookin for new or certified used and TRD OR, but i figured i would just throw my truck out there. take a look if you want and ever get a chance.

new country toyota in saratoga is a very good dealer. DON'T go to glens falls toyota though. they're a bunch of assholes, overpriced and won't budge on their prices. if they do budge, it's not much of a difference.

Griffin, love the truck, but I really want a warranty. I have the unique opportunity to be able to pay cash when the time comes, so I'm hoping to find a leftover '10 pickup. Don't know what the chances of finding the exact one I'm looking for...

Thanks for the link to your truck! I wish it was what I was looking for, I would own it...

Thanks dude, I know of the dealers, I was hoping for a little input about experiences. I have heard that Kinderhook is a great dealer, Northway not so much....

Anybody have good/bad to say about these dealers?

Yeah, I appreciate the input. I'm hoping to find a dealer that will work with me, I had a not so great experience a few years back at Carbone toyota in Bennington Vt. so I'm hoping this goes a little better...

Yeah, I had $hitty credit and they took great advantage of the fact... Maybe it would be different this time. I have heard of a lot of people who had a great buying experience there, I just wasn't so lucky.

I think upstate is more like saying, not the city... I've heard people call Poughkeepsie upstate. I'm from Schaghticoke, so very to where the OP is from and about an hour from you in Warrensburg. Most of my family is in Plattsburgh so I'm familiar with what is truely 'upstate'. It's amazing how much changes in 50 miles heading up 87...

I love it when we argue what upstate truly is.

I just bought my 08 TRD Sport today from Curry Toyota down in Westchester County. I live in Albany and they delivered the truck to me and took my trade in at no extra cost. Plus my credit isn't all that great and I still got the 2.9% since its certified. Did the whole transaction over the phone along with scanning and emailing info etc. They've delivered to VT and Virginia according to them. Seem pretty motivated to sell. Gave me a better deal than Clifton Park would for a similar spec'd 07. Check them out.

I bought my truck, a couple of weeks ago, from Toyota of Clifton Park. Real nice to deal with, no BS, price spot on what Edmonds estimated.
