Will a quick fist hold up to highway speeds? I want to mount and lock my axe&shovel to my Prinsu. But also don't want them to fly away.....

not really, I had to trim the base of the headlight just a tiny bit along the bottom edge to sit flush, and it also looks like Toyota scaled up the bolt pattern of the mirrors by about 15% so I had to drill three new holes in the door, I don’t have any pics but each hole was basically tangent to the old hole and didn’t really case any issues. The wires for the motors are the same colors as the ‘07 so that part was easy. But once the bottom edge is trimmed just very slightly it fits in almost perfectly. And they also flow really well with the body lines on the front fender I’m super happy with how it turned out.

Finally got around to photos of the Plano install on the Prinsu. I used all stainless hardware, except for the rubber washers. Stainless Tslot nut, stainless washer, rubber washer, then rubber washer inside, stainless washer, stainless nut for spacing, then stainless bolt.

After quite a bit of rain up here in the PNW, all was dry inside. Of course it was only a few days of rain, but I'm hopeful for the rest of the year. If not, I'll seal with silicone RTV.

I had fourtreks with quick fists for axe and shovel and never had a problem at any speed.

Rad! Just don’t want the shovel or axe to fly off. With the softopper, my bed rail mounts now interfere with it.

Plus, super off-road/overland points when you mount a shovel or axe.
