    Hey guys, I'm a new member here... my roommate is -TRDMAN- and he got me liking Tacoma's. so hopefully I'll fit in.:D

    Also... I'm a mechanic at a dodge dealership, been there two years... i know it's a Tacoma forum... but if you have some MOPAR questions let me know... i have access to dealer connect, dodges online database...

    Howdy Stew! I built a 68 Charger from the ground up years ago. Gotta love that Direct Connection! (does that program even still exist?)

    And that's why I don't drive a Dodge anymore! LOL JK!

    Direct Connection offered Chrysler made and approved high-performance parts over the counter at dealerships. Put probably 3/4 of my engine together with those parts. That was back in the early 80s, so not sure if that program still exists. I know the parts are still made because Jegs has a section devoted to selling them.

    we don't have that at my dealership... and Chrysler is a dumb company so my guess is the program is no more.
