It’s looking like 3 for Saturday. It will be nice to get out. I’ll be solo. Landon is bringing his fiancé and dog I believe...oh, and a Jeep.

    Where is north for you?

Same, just catch it in the watched threads section some time.

@disconnected I've got family pictures Saturday, but would be interested in a trip before the end of the year. I'm planning on AOAA mid October, hunting will take priority very soon.

It’ll be me and a pooch. My wife will be jealous not going along, she’ll possibly join us at a rendezvous after she gets back from work. We will be pretty close to my house.

I just hung a stand in the ANF, been hunting an area there for 10 years. I'm pretty oblivious to central PA, with the exception of lock haven. I used to do a little rattlesnake hunting out that way.

i see your tag says clarion....your not too far from me. the route im putting together goes pretty close to there. im 50 mins south of brookville. i dont venture too much towards the actual center of the state...more north from ANF to the PA grand canyon area.

Been everywhere in the ANF. have hiked most of the NCT up to the Allegheny reservoir. hiked the Twin lakes trial this year. have a very good friend in mt jewett. native fished cherry run quite a bit this year too. your can get into a lot up there. that said the wheeling seems to get much better north of benezette.

I am about 50 mins from brookville as well, but west. I also travel north more, but Rausch and AOAA, get my to central PA a couple times. I also really want to check out BESF.

Hiking and backpacking are a few years from my interests, but eventually I hope to walk NCT as well, it comes a few miles from my place, but it is roughly 85 miles walking to get to there.

I haven't native fished much, but for trout I go to smethport/coudersport area.

I'd be very interested in tagging along for some wheeling if you know of any. I'm always up for learning new, more secluded areas of ANF.

That was a nice run. I wouldn’t have normally aired down for that but was running at 50 in the rear and 44 up front from pulling a trailer so it was a much better ride afterward. The website says to run them at 39 normally, and I was doing good at 30 on the rocks with the road connections.

I’m thinking we will head for the hills again on October 17th to see the Orange leaves. I think this past Saturday we did 50-70 miles.

We will be doing another group event.

You may want to move this to the 18th. I know the 17th I will not be coming just because that start of the rut. Archery season is in full effect then. Just a thought.

I'll be at AOAA, then in a tree each Saturday until mid November.

I think Im going to get the Falken Wildpeak AT/W . My top 3 where Nitto Ridge Grappler, BFG KO2 and Wildpeak. I'm liking the revies for the Wildpeak for Snow and rain since we head to the cabin alot in Winter in the Laurel Highlands.

i heavily looked into these as well. i personally liked the tread pattern of the tko better as well as the more squared sidewall. can tell you from personal experience after getting the flat on the 4runner this summer a squared sidewall wouldn't have gotten punctured. when i was looking at reviews for those two tires no one really tested the Falken in the conditions that we have around here....by that i mean wet slushy winters...i opted for the BFG tires as i have used them in the past with little to no issues. never got a flat with one, they are 10 ply which i need for hauling, have (IMO) a more aggressive tread pattern and are made in the states (at lease were).

all that said if i were a normal person who only occasionally went off road and didnt hunt or go into nasty conditions id go with the falkens for the money. these trucks pretty much go anywhere in 4wd if your a decent driver.

on a side note; the best preforming tire i have ever had was coopers discoverer stt pro. those tires went ANYWHERE in 2wd

I'd definitely be in for the 18th. Maybe my wife would even bring her 4runner along
