    I hit so hard a few times, that Jeannie's teeth slammed together! lol I surely thought I had broke my truck, but it's only a little round dimple where the outer tube contacted. The front corner of the 2x2 main tube, scratched my pinch weld under there too. The whole slider flexed up about an inch on that impact. The square tubing that connects to the main outer tubing, hit my pinch weld as well, but didn't crush it, just took some paint off. I'm not too concerned about it. I'm just gonna have to be more cautious of what rocks are on the passenger side too!

    @ovrlndkull @BamaTaco56

    They are solidly built, gusseted on all connector tubing, with those bracing brackets in the front. DOM tubing as well.

    I would add 2 supports like this then the red lines and orange dots is an extra wrap around the frame and hole drilled if you can in that area on the frame.

    In my experience, the front part of the sliders is going to absorb the majority of the impact from the truck falling. The rear parts of the sliders will just drag over whatever your front just impacted. Any suggestions on how the front section could be fabbed up to be stronger?

    Yeah I'd have the front bracket welded to the slider and then try and get some better bracing there of sorts common to have them flex there. Just for reference we had some BAMF weld ons bend up enough to not open the rear doors the point loading bent the fame a tad that's 3 weld ons now I've seen do that so rear doors can't open.

    The square tubing connectors are long. I’d like to see them a little shorter for less leverage maybe? In other words, tuck the square main tubing closer under the truck?

    Yeah gully with rocks sticking out the sides above slider height dong dent.

    I was the only one to take that line because it's rough and a belly and slider dragger the whole way up that section.

    Man, I was dragging belly and scraping sliders the whole way. Lol Me and Preston had 265s, everyone else was 285+. Preston killed it in his 2wd all day. It was impressive to say the least!

    Yeah half of what ya'll were going over I was like damn 35s would of made that a cake walk. I need to get a couple things tweaked then I'm going to slap the 37s on and do a shakedown run.

    I’d love to do a lot more to this truck, but it’s also my daily commuter and grocery getter too, so I’m not as wild behind the wheel of this truck, like I was in my 2nd gen.

    Thats why I ain’t wild in this one! I interstate commute to work every day and no way I could put 35s or even 33s on this thing! At least not until I get another vehicle to drive back and forth to work.

    the legs of the sliders are pretty long. Maybe 2-3ish inches longer than most I have seen. That acts as more of a lever for the sliders when you take a hit

    Im gonna go leaf 1st, they are a lot cheaper. Gonna have to get the tires and wheels paid for before linking it. I have an 84 4Runner in the front and a 89 Land Cruiser in the rear. After the strech wheelbase will be 104.
