    Hi everyone,

I've been trolling and reading for a while. Long story short, I drove my sisters Tacoma from Fort St James British Columbia Canada to Halifax Nova Scotia in August towing a 6100 lb trailer. She has a 2016 TRD Sport and wanted to move back home after living out there for years.

I had always wanted a truck ever since I was a kid but alas, had been living in the city and hadn't / couldn't justify it.

After spending 3 weeks with her truck, 8 days moving her and then another 2 weeks isolating... I fell in love with it. I know some complain about the seating position, some complain about the transmission, but overall, I absolutely loved driving that truck with the monster covered trailer behind it. So much so , I started my quest to find one... Like others mentioned here, there are none available , I was looking for weeks, and time was running out for the sales for EOY 2020 models.

Finally, a dealer reached out and said they had a 2020 VooDoo Blue TRD offroad premium on the way to their shop... said it would be there tomorrow... 2 hour drive with the wife later and sales agreement signed. Can't wait...

I look forward to learning a lot from you and maybe even meet up with some at some point.

Any tips , advice and advice is welcome...

Cheers for now and see you around the forums.

Ohh this could get expensive , I love the bumper , first up is getting the thing undercoated, Nova Scotia is terrible for vehicles biodegrading.

Just avoid the rubberized under coating and you should be alright.

I just talked to them , and they do use the rubberized stuff although they swear it doesn't get hard with a 10 year warranty , a couple thousand bucks.. Krown it is for me, 150 per year and they do the doors frame and everything with a warranty to boot.

Krown isn't bad, but I've seen mixed results with it vs say, Fluid Film/woolwax or cosmoline products. Definitely way better than the rubberized undercoating (ask me how I know).

Hey! I had the same problem finding my 2020 Voodoo Blue! I’m in AL but found it at a dealership in Texas! We called on Monday and did paperwork overnight , had it shipped here in 6 days!! The funny thing was I had never even driven a Tacoma ! My dad had a tundra he adored in 2003-4 ! My brother had had three Tacoma’s! So I was in for a shock ! I saw it after I had purchased it , I’m still in love
    Congrats on that fab color!!

yea apparently there aren't many in that color here. The dealers brother has a TRD pro in that color with the snorkel , I haven't seen any other.

I "Accidently" took the Collingwood exit and drove down through Westchester Station and took the 4 to the farm market. Then went to New Minas last night for a drive.

The road to Westchester Station off the 104 is terrible, oh well the suspension got a work out lol.
