I’ve certainly been guilty of stacking shut on top of springs while using those compressors to make myself feel better lol

Oreillys has a pretty solid set you borrow for free. $60 or so and then money back when you return it. No blankets though.

I may have been using them wrong but those ones wouldn’t take fit my 887s when I was swapping those on. I ended up just taking my stuff to an off-road shop by me and paid 85ish to have it put together.

Yea for truck springs, I would do that. Pull the full coilover assembly and take it to a shop that has a compressor mounted on the wall. Let them remove and reassemble the coilovers then reinstall.

Thats assuming you have someone helping you that can drive you around

Yes, I used them last on a Dodge. They may be too tight for coilovers on a Taco. I keep telling myself to pickup one of those wall mounted compressors, but then never do.

These compressors from Oreillys don't go all the way around the coil they just hook over top and probably go inside of the coil about 1/2"

I might just do this and take it to an offroad shop, might be the safest option.

Learn how the coils are supposed to be installed and verify before you leave the shop. There have been lots of instances where shops have installed things upside down and people didn't realize it until after they reinstalled them on the truck.
